Victoria Tait has entrepreneurial spirit running through her veins.

From the tender age of eight, when she sold her own homemade perfumes, Victoria has been driven to succeed.

Today she aims to bring a well-loved Scottish institution to life with her first Maw Broon’s Kitchen restaurant due to open this year in Dundee, with a string of others planned to follow across the UK and beyond.

Victoria’s background is in marketing having studied the discipline at university and then undertaken a varied career in marketing, communications, project management and event management across the UK and Europe.

Specialising in the media sector, she has worked on a string of projects and challenges that have helped generate millions in revenue and create efficiencies within the newspaper, magazine and radio sectors.

Victoria, until very recently, headed up DC Thomson’s multi-disciplinary events team, creating, planning and executing some of the biggest events in the Scottish media landscape.

Today, as well as launching her own exciting business, she is also undertaking reviews of select businesses to increase their efficiencies and effectiveness, and of course, working with event professionals to create memorable and profitable events.

As well as all of the above, Victoria likes to keep fit, travel and spend time with family.
